:: Biography
Laura Gable was born in rural Nebraska and schooled in its simplicity. She attended Chadron State College gaining a Bachelor degree in Art and Accounting. Shortly thereafter, she embarked on a career in accounting and later, graphic design. Since early 2000, her business evolved to include the role of professional artist and educator. She has been involved with her own art studios in Kennewick and now Richland, Washington where she hones the craft and teaches painting to groups and individuals. She has studied under Jan Kunz, Don Getz, Donna Watson, Roberta Lavador, Ruth Stromswold and Stan Miller. Her work has been exhibited in regional galleries and private collections across the United States.
